The COLSD staff were focused on conducting rigorous research on important topics to improving the outcomes of students with disabilities as they participated in online learning (e.g., blended, supplemental, and full-time virtual settings). In the course of the research, the staff also recognized that the various audiences (e.g., vendors, parents, school staff, and researchers) for the research findings had a need for printed resources to assist them with their planning and implementation of programmatic, research, evaluation, and policy initiatives. The resources included hopefully provide some guidance in this rapidly evolving landscape of online instruction.
